This year everyone in our school had to do science fair. My experiment question was ‘Does the size of a kite affect how long it will fly?’, my hypothesis was that the bigger the kite is the longer it will fly for because more air can get underneath it and push it upwards. For my experiment I made three different sized kites and flew them all at the same time and timed them to see if there was a difference between them. I found out that there was a marginal difference between the smaller one and the bigger one but it was barely noticeable, the bigger one came down a couple of seconds later. I came to the conclusion that the size of the kite doesn’t really matter it is more about the power of the wind.
