This year I have gained a lot of useful knowledge in general and I feel that I have used my time well throughout most of the year. This year I have participated in the inter-intermediate rugby tournament held in Matamata, the school symphonic band and the jazz band.
In maths I learned:
- How to identify and use several different types of graphs including; bar, pie, column and histograms.
- How to find out the sum of the interior angles by finding how many lines of symmetry it has.
And heaps of other interesting things to do with big numbers and impressive formulas.
In English I learned how to:
- Write a persuasive argument based on information supplied.
- Write a short story focusing on showing and not telling.
- Write and present a speech to my peers.
And lots more that would be to long a list to mention.
Goals for next year:
- To make the Hamilton Boys High School rugby team.
- To complete all my work to a standard that I am proud of.
- To use my current knowledge to help me pass all of my exams.
So as you can see it has been a pretty interesting year for me and hopefully next year will be just as eventful and exciting!
